The Perfect After-School Snack

I’ve recently tried a new after school snack that really help me focus on homework and stay happy and healthy!

I have a major sweet tooth so sometimes its hard for me to find a sweet and healthy snack when I’m hungry after school. But my looking has come to an end! I’ve found my perfect snack! And I would like to share it with all of you!

I used washed fruit from the grocery store near me. I decided to go with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and spinach to give it some greens.

I then cut the tops off of the strawberries. This is optional, I know people who like blending the tops with them.

I gathered my fruit (and spinach) and but it in my old blend-tech.

I also added some ice to make it cold and thick.IMG_0011.JPG

I also added some milk, but thats just because I didn’t have any juice. But I would definitely use orange juice if I had some. You ┬ácan also use water if you would like.

I kept adding ice until it was the right consistency for my taste. I poured it in my favorite glass and added a garnish of a raspberry, a blueberry, and one leaf of spinach (I also added a paper straw). I love this drink so much!!! It’s definitely my new favorite after school heathy drink.

I would definitely suggest adding spinach. You can barely taste it and it helps you focus and more susceptible to new information!

I also made a snack, but I forgot to take pictures (please excuse that) but I will explain:

I toasted an english muffin and cut up a banana in small pieces and spread them on the muffin. While it was still warm, I drizzled honey on top for a delicious and again healthy snack! Yum!

Please let me know if you try them!

10 of My Favorite Life Hacks

Hello and welcome back!

I’ve been looking around on the black hole we call the internet for some unique twists and turns to life for a high school teenager. These, I know, can help anyone and I hope they help you as well :).

  1. This is perfect for sharing your contact information! Add your email address or phone number to your iPhone’s/ phone’s dictionary so that if you type or spell it wrong, t all always correct you.
  2. When cleaning your room, make your bed first. It will make everything else seem out of place and motivate you to finish cleaning!
  3. When you are doing homework or in the middle of an important paper, snack on an avocado or banana. They help you relax, focus, and more susceptible to new information.
  4. If you don’t have internet on your phone, text GOOGLE (466453)and it will give you search results for anything you search.
  5. If you ever get headaches in school or practically anywhere, eat a mint or a mint cough drop.
  6. To study faster, read the first and last paragraphs first, and skim through the middle reading, its the same as reading the whole thing and it helps you recall your memory.
  7. To make your essays longer, increase the margins, make your punctuation size 18pt, make your title bigger, and add .5pt to your font size.
  8. If you can’t decide weather you are hungry or not, ask yourself if you want an apple. If the answer is no, you are probably just bored.
  9. Drinking one whole glass of water first thing in the morning helps you stay positive, focused, and helps you learn faster.
  10. If your Sharpie dries out, put the tip in a small glass of rubbing alcohol for a few minutes and it will be as good as new!

Hello and welcome, stranger, friend or whomever you might be. Welcome to my little internet blog!

This is my first ever blog entry so I would like to tell you a little bit about myself and why I created this blog.

I am a 15 year old teenage girl who likes fashion, spending time with my friends, gaming, and I also Love fashion. I now live in New Mexico with my mom, dad, brother and two of the cutest dogs in the world.

I created this blog because I’d like to share my story and be able to look back on these fabulous years in the future. I regret not starting earlier as my family has just ended an amazing trip about a year and a half ago. When I was about 11 years old, my family decided to leave our beautiful lusciously green home in Snoqualmie, Washington and move onto a bus. I know what you’re thinking, “like, a school bus?”. No, it was an MCI bus that was originally a Washington DC police bus (which I find pretty cool :)).

We converted the bus to our liking and started off our remarkable trip with a “test run” down to Key West, Florida. We loved our new lifestyle with only 320 square feet for the four of us. We had a few issues so we took it back to the skilled man who converted it for us, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

After it was ‘ship-shape’ we took off. We travelled back to Key West and back up through Ohio through Canada, Quebec, and down to Maine. We then proceeded through New England and down through Kentucky, Oklahoma, and Texas all the way to our new home in Santa Fe. I remember we had only stayed in the RV park one night before we decided that this is our ‘home’. Before we moved into our new house, we adopted my 5 year old dog named Layka, and my brother’s one month old black malinouis puppy (whom is now a one and half years old). Soon after, we began house hunting and found the one that we live in now. It’s the perfect house for our family.

Some people ask me if I miss my small quirky old town, of course I do, but I know I will visit again someday.

This brings us to the present, April 10, 2016. I live in an amazing town, with new friends and adventures, and a whole lot more to explore, and I would like to take you all with me :).

All I can say now is, it’s a pleasure to meet you all and I can’t wait to share more of me with all of you!
